The Blessing Ceremony is one of the most important aspects of Balinese culture and religion. Performed by Balinese priests, the blessings are intended to guide the actions of the community and maintain harmony in the Bali Hindu universe.
The blessing is made with water. In addition to its stunning beaches, peaceful lakes and fun rivers, Bali is blessed with a large number of natural springs that many Balinese regard as sacred. Balinese people use these springs to cleanse themselves, both physically and spiritually.
The ceremony is held at Vision Villa Resort. The local Hindu priest harnesses the purifying energy of water which represents chi or prana, the flow of life, to connect us with our deepest emotions and intuition. The priest burns incense and meditates then chants Sanskrit mantras as he prepares the holy water to pour a holy shower.
