The day starts at 8am when you will be met in the lobby by your driver who will take you to Goa Gajah, a sacred cave whose entrance is the mouth of a fearsome beast. From there, you will travel to a coffee plantation in a village surrounded by a lush tropical garden and learn about arabica, robusta and Balinese coffee.
The next stop will be the Ubud Monkey Forest. Stroll through a conservation park in the Balinese jungle but remember to put away your jewellery. Monkeys like shiny things. After shopping in the Ubud traditional market, enjoy lunch in one of the top cafés in Ubud.
The trip continues to the Tegalalang rice terrace where you can walk through the terraces and take pictures of this scenic spot. Finally, the day ends with a visit to Gunung Kawi, an 11th century temple and funerary complex spread across both sides of the Pakerisan river.
